    Default Procrastination

Does anyone else have a major problem with procrastination? It's 9.30 PM here in Aus and I need to finish my part of the report for a group assignment by the time I go to sleep. But everytime I start typing my mind wonders more than a drunk 16 year old. So anyone have any tips for me to overcome this or have the same problem?

Yes indeed I'm possibly the world's biggest procrastinator, I'm completely useless.

True story a few months ago I ordered a book from Amazon entitled 'Getting Things Done' all about how to motivate yourself and stop timewasting.

I've yet to even open the book

haha that is actually really bad, I don't mind things which I enjoy doing but quite frankly Thermohaline Circulations isn't one of them.

I meant to post in this thread earlier, but it took me a while to get around to doing it...

But no, no procrastination problems here.

Bilbo says he's the greatest procrastinator so I'm must be second. Anyway, I find that once I start doing the things I've been putting off I go like a house on fire. I've been procrastinating doing yard work for several days. Today I cut the lawn, cleaned the garage, washed the cars, washed the motorcycle, cleaned the gutters, picked up twigs and sticks around the yard, and put down some grass seed. Like I said, once I get going there's no stopping me. That is, until I walked into the house, carcked open a beer and went on this website.

Yes. It's why I sometimes don't train like I should, plus I always wait until almost midnight before getting my shower and brushing my teeth (gettin' ready for bed). That's why most of us don't get much sleep.

    I'm the worst!

I even procrastinated by researching procrastination on the web!

This is the link I found which is helpful but I still do often procrastinate!

I wanted to find out all the psychology behind why I procrastinate and I think I get it but it's going to take a while to change I think!
