For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Myself, I looked at it as a fight where both guys are taking a huge risk. When fighters lay it all on the line, that will spell better reputations even if they lose. I look at undefeated records as a negative mark as they just did not try hard enough.

This is why I am looking forward to Miranda vs Abraham this weekend. it will be a smoker

Yeah, I bet edison dreams about a rematch with Kelly. Problem is, I just don't see him winning against Pavlik; though I'd love to see a rematch. I wouldn't mind seeing Pavlik get a fight with Abraham as well.

    and I agree with this.

What I don't agree with is how Calzaghe and camp handled it. I doubt very much you would ever have read this article if not for them going on about it is just because Joe is so much better and Kelly isn't ready and such. It really was not necessary.

I like the way Kelly keeps quiet and his trainer does the trash talking. They both know in the same situation they'd take the money too.

EDIT; I actually do like the way they do that, I'm not being sarcastic.

I think is it simply Kelly is a classy guy and will talk with his hands. These words needed to be said IMO, so here they are.

I've defended Floyd for taking the bigger money fight, so I'll defend Joe.

The Roy fight probably brings twice the money as a Pavlik fight. Its much less risky, he'd be silly not to take it. 20 years from now, people will forget that Jones was a shadow of what he was and a win over him could look good on Joe's resume. He should fight Jones and then Pavlik.

I'll have to set a signature saying something like "this post reflects my honestly held views and is in no way meant to be confrontational, controversial, sarcastic or offensive."

Look Lockett was the test for the Calzaghe/Pavlik potential fight, as they are in the same stable. Enzo saw what happened to Lockett and right then and there was no way Joe was going to fight him.

Enzo's knows how Joe fairs against Lockett, they are in the same camp for goodness sakes. It was the measuring stick and Enzo saw what he did...and there will be no Pavlik fight. Period.
