Getting rid of swelling and preventing black eyes?
So i had an EXTREMELY hardcore sparring match earlier, and im now sat here nursing an ice pack on my face.
I think im going to get a black eye, and i really, obviously, dont want to. I have work in an hour also. So, any quick ways to get swelling down pronto and preventing bruising coming up?

you know, we all think of bruises and cuts as bad, but let's face it, they attract attention from hot chicks. Chicks dig scars! "oh, it looks so painfull. Are you ok?"
part of why i started with boxing and not something like bjj was because I didn't want to have f'd up ears at this stage of my life and career. but a black eye, people will assume you fell and hit your head. just make something up. I have two pretty big scars on my right arm from a fish tank incident and I tell chick that it's from a shark attack. "He got me here and here and a bit here... "

After that, it's pretty much just Ice it and hope for the best. But Von is right...it's a great convo starter with chicks, and I've never met a chick who didn't dig the fact that I'm a "fighter" (so what if I've never been in an actual match yet...they don't need to know that!)
Boxing is like a handjob, and MMA is like a hot sweaty orgy with 5 chicks. I could never say no to a handjob, but which would you rather have?
