    Default Family

Do any of you like having your family watch you while you fight? Becuse for some reason i don't want my family to watch me fight. I think i'm kinda embarassed to fight in front of them. Do any of you think having family (not friends) gives you extra motivation?

Ive heard from some of my freinds who fight, that when there one "special" family member is there, that they fight so much better. They just say it gives them more motovation to win for them.

i have not had my first fight yet but i feel that when i do i will love to have them there, it will give me motivation when i am worn out and struggling in the finaly round,

To me they are some thing that i fight for to make them proud...Thats how i feel about this

To most people, if ANYONE is watching you besides your opponent, you feel a little more adrenaline in your blood. I dont have a boxing gym near me, so I spar with my friends on our lawns, and whenever someone stops to watch i start playing much better defense, ducking out of the way of punches and I don't lose offense either. But of course if it makes you fight worse, don't let them watch you d: o

I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want to have family or close friends supporting you when your having a fight, i wish my family would come but they dissaprove of my boxing so strongly that that will never happen.
Even if you do get beat, i'd love to have my mum and dad there to drive me home and cheer me up - family and fiends (if they're good mates) will support you even if you lose and help celebrate when you win!

Having your family thier is goo d they make you give it your all. But on the other hand if you are losing it will make you worse. But that only happens if your no focused. A couple of weeks when i was fighting i was losing then my girlfriend and my mates started chanting my name and then i got this energy from nowhere and knocked him out. What im saying is if your trying to get somewhere in boxing you need your family and friends support to pick you up when your down.

When I fight I don't like my wife to be there. When I'm in the ring or in a street fight, Im a different person, and one that I don't like her to see, even though most of the time she goes anyways. But when you step in between those ropes, you have to be an animal, a kill or be killed attitude, and thats not something you want the person you love to see you as. To her Im a husband and a father, and fighting is what I do to help pay the bills. I try to keep it that way as much as possible.

It doesn't matter to me, my brother and my dad are always watching when I fight but I don't hear the crowd. When I get in the ring its almost like I get in a trance.I'm only focused on what is happening inside those ropes
