Default Boxing Gorilla why didn't you tell me?

That a new series of Monster Quest had started!

I only found out by chance today and it's already been running for about 6 episodes.

I'm grabbing them now, sounds like a cool series. They've got ghosts, vampires, giant rats, giant spiders, bears, cave trolls (actually I made that up was thinking of Legion) and they even come to England to little old Devon where I live (yay!) to search for the beast of Exmoor.

Happy times ahead I'm going to sit through a bunch of these over the weekend and hope that maybe jusy maybe they find something this time.

I saw the giant rat one. It was very disappointing. I too am a big fan of the series, but mostly to ridicule some of their eye-witnesses, and occasionally they will have the dumbest "scientists," on the planet (like the giant rat episode had) that are also fun to laugh at.

I agree, the crazy loon from the first series who insisted he was picked up and carried by a Thunderbird as big as a small plane as a child was a standout for me last time.

Plus the scientist who went to prove Big Foots existence by extracting a tiny bit of blood from a nail board and scraping it into a vial, that would prove inconlusive, instead of thinking to take the entire nail board with them so that they had the complete sample

Oh and the other sicentists who were searching for Big Foot the world's greatest potential discovery and when on the third day they were supposedly attacked by him throwing rocks at their cabin decided they couldn't stay any longer and left the next day

I have never heard of such a series.... But instead of watching the entire entourage or supernatural for the 3rd time, maybe I should download this

Wait till you see the scientists strap like 20 pounds of survelliance equipment on the back of a rat with a makeshift harness in order to give them a first person view of the inside of the rats den........... Needless to say, it didn't work.

And I'm not even gonna get started on their key eyewitness of rat culture who happens to be some toothless homeless guy that lives in the New York City subway system.

I hope that show never goes off the air........... sometimes I fall out of my chair laughing when some of that stuff comes on.

I once felt the presence of the Loch Ness Monster. But looking back I think my 10 year old mind was just a bit lively.

There was a guy here who swore that he saw a yeti type creature in the Korean countryside. The guy was a fruitloop and has since gone back home to Kentucky. Lots of weird stories from him. Quite a legend in the ESL community.

    My apologies, Bilbo.

I really don't have an excuse other than laziness. Every time I'd think about posting it I'd get distracted and when I remembered again I would be away from the computer.

I am enjoying this season and liked the rat episode that Frozen didn't like. I can see why someone wouldn't have, but I am obsessed with vermin and how some people live amongst rats and roachs like they are not even there.

Ah never mind I least I found it. I'm constantly amazed by the sheer diversity of mythical creatures this show manages to go searching for, cheerful in the knowledge that only a halfwit would ever believe they actually exist.

Still I hold out hope that one day one of these shows will stun us and actually find something, but if not I'll just enjoy seeing what they go hunting for next.

I hoping the third series will have them looking for Godzilla in the location where the Cloverfield movie took place, maybe search for the Blair Witch and determine once and for all if there really is a man on the moon.

Have they ever come to B.C.? We have a bunch of mythical creatures that no one has any proof of.

Well it meets there search criteria for sure. I'm sure if you reported an ugly green slime monster that lived in the woods they'd be over for Season 3.

BG should contact Monster Quest and send them to Bilbo's house.

You know being serious for a minute I hate how they are using him to ridicule pro life.

If I had a kid liked that I'd be devasted for him but no way in hell would I want him aborted. I'd love him unconditionally and would even if the mother wanted to terminate I'd try and fight it in the courts. I'd raise him myself if I had to.

I think how we are judged in life is by how we respond to bad situations and how we show love and compassion for others even when we'd rather not deal with the situation.

Poor kid, my guess is he's a Chernobyl victim

Yeah Bilbo, you're so forgiving and compassionate. Didn't you tell Lefty you hope he dies several times?

Actually they didn't put the "pro life" banner on there, I did 7 years ago.Me and a co-worker were arguing about abortion and he got all heated and so that night I found this pic and decided to superimpose pro life on it. Then we printed pics and made t-shirts out of it and I gave my buddy at work one. It was sick I know, but whatever. I feel real bad for that kid, seriously, but euthanasia would have been kinder than the life he'll have. I wonder if he's still alive and what kind of mockery people make of him everyday. Very sad.

Bilbo you should never have kids, as you'll get triplets that look just like him

    Who is that boy?!

I agree with what Bilbo said in theory, but I couldn't do it. I have enough problems of mine own, folks. I couldn't be seen in public with this oddity tagging along. By myself I may be able to snake through the crowd unnoticed but with lumpy by my side we'd look like escapees from some macabre roadshow.

The boy's feet would be wrapped in newspaper because there isn't a cobbler alive could work that kind of magic and knowing my luck he'd reach for the loudest toy in the story and have even the most saintly patron wishing we were never born.

haha I'm not sure I'd be seen out with him much, we'd hide out in my little flat together, us against the world.

It wouldn't be too bad, get all our shopping online, we'd never leave the house so not much difference to my current life really.

    I'd definitely homeschool him.
