Default No one told Margarito the plan...

First and foremost I want to start by saying Cotto is a great boxer/fighter he showed lots of heart and tons of skill...haha anyway.

F@#$ HBO, I can understand that in the countdown and everything leading up tho this fight they as a network would have to lean towards someone and obviously they choose Cotto, he was their next big money maker for the next 5 years at least, even though I think they should have been a bit more objective between the fighters. But I'm not pissed about that, what pisses me off is that even in victory they arent giving him his props!! Jim Lampley, who I have always liked as a commentator was f'ing crying!!!!! Manny Steward was the only one who was pointing out the obvious...Antonio Margarito was taking Cotto apart round by round, in the 2nd round COtto hit him with a big left hook and Margo smiled just like he did in the Cintron fight and kept coming it was all over after that although I was worried that he was throwing enough I knew we had it. Thats besides my point.

HBO leaned so much on Cotto they even threw in that little tribute to his destruction, Ive read the post where people are saying they were mad because he didnt give an interview but I think they really just felt sorry for him. No props for TOny they choose to ruin the celebration by shohwing Cotto's crying wife and kid, no one wants to see that. Why didnt they show Margo's wife and kid. Hell they have been waiting for this for a long time, and they ruined it for him by making him look like a brutal killer? Well he did look like one but thats neither here nor there.

I think that was bad broadcasting on HBO's part, but just like lots of people on this forum they can hope on the Margarito band wagon there plenty of room...well standing room now...."I'm rolling comfortably riding shotgun"

And for my next thread, I hater to make enemies anywhere especially with people who like what I like just as passionately, but I gotta do it, I will be reviewing all my posts and calling out all the people who were rude to me for backing Tony, first one that comes to mind is when I was called "a noob who should go and re-watch all Tonys fights" quoted directly from a poster who shall remain nameless....

    This should be fun.

I havent read your original posts or I've forgot but usually it is how someone states their feelings in a post which draws out how others reply to them.

You'd gain more respect by letting it go.

God knows this section is full of fresh posters stamping up and down trying to make a new dent :

happens every big fight, but we grow to like the ones who stay on.

    I can explain it.
But I cant understand it for you.

Yeah there is no reason to stick your tongue out, just take solace in the fact that you were right and your boy won. I'm sure you wouldn't have liked if I brought up all my posts before Margarito-Williams after the fact
