What should I do and how often should I do it to help build up my calves a little bit? My legs are too damn skinny, and while I do run, it doesn't seem to make them any bigger. My friggin' arms are almost as big as my legs.

ok heres what you do take a really fat girl lift her up and then stand on a stair with your heels hanging over the edge and then lower your heels and the push them back up(i hope this makes sence i just got back from working at hell(mcdonalds)and am tired) you can also substute the fat girl for dumb bells. or use a machine that tagets the calf muscules drectly.
Staying on the balls of your feet while skipping helps...
always had big calvesso i never train them.
Look to develop the whole leg first of all then 'sculpt'
heavy squats.
If you're after endurance nothing beats skipping but stay up on the balls of your feet, skipping on a material that gives like a mat makes the burn.
There was a guy at my old gym who had giganticcalves,,, and thighs for that matter. I observed him for a few weeks and didn't really see him doing anything special to them so I asked him if he trained them specifically at all and he said that he only ever squats, and I guess that was enough to make his calves the size of my head... So I second the squats as a good idea for calf enlargement

for upper legs, do squats
for calves, I learned this from a friend of mine. He is an endurance runner. I was running with him one day and he told me that I was running all wrong, I was running flat footed. He told me to run on the balls of my feet only, dont let my heels touch the ground. I did, and it felt more natural, it was a little easier. Until after I was done.
My calves were so fried, I could hardly walk the next day.
From then on, that's how I ran. now my calves are a lot stronger.
try it,
^^^ That's a good idea. I'll try that when out running next as well..
My brother used to have shoes that had a platform on the front of them so it was like you were standing on the edge of a step while wearing them.. He was only 5'5" & could dunk a basketball at 16 from wearing those things.. anyway kind of a dumb story & I don't know if you'd find those shoes around anywhere.. & running on the balls of your feet sounds more practical anyway.

Running up stairs, on the ball of your feet, up and down, up and down
in my opinion the most effective way of bulking up your calfs is CALF RAISES, when you stand with a barbell and weights rested on your shoulders behind your neck and go up on your toes and down. try high weight, 8 reps and 5 sets. im only thirteen and ive got bigger calfs than 99.9% of the guys at my gym because os that exercise.
hope that helps
Whats the diameter, ankle and calve muscle?
Well what you can do is, Stand on the edge of your stairs, have half of you feethanging off the edge and go up down up down. There called calf raises

Last weeks episode of Entourage, HBOs comedy about the
three layabout guys from Queens who are living the Beverley Hills
hignlife when their mate becomes a movie star, answered this
question. The character played by Matt Dillon has the same problem
with his calves but finds a plastic surgeon who will give him calf implants.
I dare say you could do the same thing. It's apparently all the rage in Beverly Hills.
