Whoever Oscar fights it'll make money thats what Oscar is all about these days but I still like him. I look at it like this, for the last 7-8 years boxing has lost quite a bit of popularity and during that time I don't think anyone would disagree that Oscar was the games biggest name. So how would the state of boxing be now if it wasn't for him? I think that it would be a lot worse than it is. And even though I do believe it to be a mismatch I wouldn't begrudge him going out with the easier option rather than one that could make him look bad after all he has taken on people much bigger naturally than himself like Hopkins and has given so much to the sport.

People just hate him no matter what. He can have a fight on tv FOR FREE and people will cry about it. He can support the olympic team and people will cry about it. People don't talk about his achievements and list of guys he faced.
Other guys like Mayweather, Cotto, or Margarito, won't make a nickle compared to ODLH facing Pac.
Pac is no martyr poor little boo boo. He knows what he's getting into and that is a BIG ASS PAYCHECK, the biggest in his career and probably the biggest he will ever get.

I'd give you rep, but I need to spread some around first. Rather than cherry pick one division below you go 3 down to find an opponent. That's why I say Oscar, in many respects, is bad for the sport. Pac wouldn't consider fighting a junior middleweight under normal circumstances and Oscar doesn't deserve to fight the #1 P4P guy. Hell, Oscar doesn't deserve to fight Miguel Cotto or Antonio Margarito, either. A win over a blown up junior welter doesn't erase the last few years of inactivity and wins over substandard opponents.
