He was actually a little more behind the line and the keeper was out.
Also it wasn't a high kick it was a more grounded kick.

Nobody but nobody uses the terms half field, large box etc in football - Ive american friends who all follow the game and not one of them uses such terms.

You have a centre circle, halfway line, penalty area, 6 yard box.

Here's the video of Beckham scoring from half field. The goalie made it easy by leaving his own large box to run up to the other teams large box, what an idiot OMG LOL.
