    Talking Motorcycle fans!!!

Hi their folks!I dont know if there's been a Thread based on this subject before(Im sure there will have been!)but i just wanted to share my fondness of Motorbikes.Im a bit of a petrol head when it comes to bikes.Im hoping to get a 600cc bike next year after i have passed my test that is!I have rode a couple of road legal bikes before in the passed and actually owned a motorbike too until some scruffy cunt nicked it.Anyhow,i'd like for you to tell me what you owned or what's your favourite bike. It'll be great to hear from some bike fans.I like all kinds of bikes, partically sports bikes and tourers and off-roaders too!

I once got a lift on the back of one of the main Biking instructors when i was learning on a 125cc bike a few years ago.I was walking on the way to the training site and was about a mile away from the training centre on a sunday morning when all of a sudden me instructor pulled over on his brand new SUZUKI GSX 1300cc and said "hop on the back and i'll giv you a lift round",I was like a kid in a sweet shop.I jumped on the back, shot me lid(Helmet on)and held on for dear life. It's easy to say that i shat me pants of how quick it was.Even known i was only on the back of it for 5minutes,i was glad to get off.It was a truely powerful machine.A machine only for reall men!!!Blood great bike though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I was around 14 or 15 my first bike would have been a Triumph Bonneville 650, fully chopped, but my mother said no Would have only cost me $15 US.

Since then I have owned a Honda 500, 2 speed auto, a Kawasaki 650 and 750 fully dressed for touring.

I would not mind buying another bike down the road some time, but not quite sure which one.

Me first bike ride was on a Honda C90.Fantasic little bike.Believe it or not the Honda C90 is the most popular bought motor bike in the world. Most of them are found on the roads(so called roads)of India.

Me fisrt ever motorbike i ever owned was a road legal Honda CG125cc which is a great first time road bike!I only had it for two months til some jealous little bastard knicked itnot long afterwards i started learning to ride a bigger bike....Honda CB500cc,another great learning bike.I could feel the difference straight away compared to the 125cc bike i had.I only rode the 500 for a 30minutes and as soon as i got back onto a 125cc bike,it felt like i was on a kids bike.I had great memories of the CG125 though, even know it was short lived

I'm curious if you had already tried to fly with a bike. I had to suffer for more than a month after that. Bikes are dangerous even with a helmet.Glad I wore helmet that day.

    Ive owned a Honda 750 4.
Wrote off a kwaka H2 series 750 triple, two stroke, did a cork srew in mid air and landed on the motor and pushed it up through the tank whoops; it was worked and evil for a 70's bike it used to go straight up onto the back wheel and would stay up there through 3 gears with your face burried in between the taco and speedo with your feet on the back pegs laying down on the bike to hold it down and as you went past telegraph pole number three from stand still you were just on a 100 miles per hour and the front would drop down as you changed into top, only then the kwaka 900' 4 strokes would get past you.
Owned a Kwaka 350 triple two stroke as well, same sort of fun.
Thank God Im still here actually, I had nothing to do with it for a few years of drug and booze induced speed riding.

Sounds like you had funSound like you were lucky not to be seriously hurt mate.I've never had a crash on a motor bike yet"TOUCH WOOD"but i've had some near misses before, but i've noticed it in time for me to react to it.Its's mainly the same old situation, were you get some arsehole who you make eye contact with as you are riding along....and then all of a sudden their'll pull out on you with no warning whatsoever,I FUCKING HATE THAT!!IT PUTS THE SHITS UP ME,AS IT WOULD TO ANY RIDER!!
