Who the boxer Mikkel Kessler has to meet next time, seem very enormous. His match maker Mogens Palle has walked the thought about a fight against the English world super-middleweight champion at WBC, Carl Froch, but that turns away the promoter Mick Hennessy.
"I have talked with Mogens Palle. But Froch's next struggle stays against Jermain Taylor, who is a first-challenger in WBC. I had first not thought that Taylor wanted to have the fight, but his promoter Lou DiBella called and said that they were clear", Mick Hennessy reports to TV 2 the sport.
Thus there is consequently no fight between Kessler and Froch temporarily. But Mick Hennessy emphasizes that Kessler is an attractive opponent.
"After the fight against Taylor, we are of course still interested in making a fight with Kessler", he says.

The withdrawal is extra sad for Mikkel Kessler in his plans for getting a fight in February or March. Jermain Taylor was as a matter of fact also a possible opponent, who might have aroused an interest in the US. Mogens Palle has also opened up to a fight between Kessler and Mads Larsen in March. But at first it will be estimate neither at a little to begin with.
Because Mads Larsen's promoter, Wilfried Sauerland, will have the fight between Larsen and world champion at IBF, Lucien Bute, boxed first.
"Mads' next struggle is against Bute. That lies firmly. But a fight against Mikkel Kessler will always be interesting. Especially for all the Danish safe-deposit box fans", it sounds Sauerland from Wilfried to TV 2 the sport.
Something indicates that Mikkel Kessler gets very greatly by finding an attractive opponent. The boxers Carl Froch, Jermain Taylor, Mads Larsen and Lucien Bute are all out of the picture.
To that comes that the veteran Bernard Hopkins has refused a fight in clear turnings against the Danish WBA-world champion, and Kessler's dream about a return match against Joe Calzaghe hardly succeeds, when the Welshman generally refuses to give return matches.
A possible opponent might have been the world champion at WBO, Denis Inkin. But the Russian has a fight in January, and will hardly be ready to meet Kessler already about March. Another name that has been in game, are WBC and the WBO the world middleweight champion, Kelly Pavlik. But he has a fight in February, so that "The Ghost" is neither a subject
