I missed the first fight, but im sure i read that Munroe just basically outboxed him for the whole fight, is this correct??
Then i look at the odds for this fight and i see its basically 50/50 which i find strange as the outcome of the first was so one sided, i know Fenster is the usual betting man do you see any value in Munroe at 4/5 considering the outcome of there first fight![]()
Yeah im looking forward to this one.Even known Munroe has'nt really got the power to K.O a opponant with one punch he should still win by using his boxing skills and speed throughout the bout!
yeah apparently martinez just plodded after munroe all night in the 1st fight and looked a bit one dimensional. martinez has got great power though and im sure he would have learnt a few things since then, plus hes out for revenge and thats what makes this fight exciting for me. speed vs power, gets me looking forward to a fight everytime!
I recon it's the same outcome as the first fight, with Munroe been to fast for Martinez.
could well be the same outcome but ive got a feeling its gonna be more competitive this time.
Well done to Munroe for the win. Not official yet but he definitely did enought o win. I don't think he'll do anything at world level though.
Official now. Well done Munroe.
And Sunderland's Tony Jeffries wins in the first round too! He looks a real prospect as well.
yeah im uncertain what munroe can do on the world stage to be honest but im hopefull. good luck to jefferies, very promising start, ill be following his career.
Didn't see the fight, but I think Monroe has some real talent. He just has the bad luck to be stuck in one of the best divisions in boxing. Can't see him getting a world title whilst Vasquez & Marqeuz are still around & then he has to hope Caballero & Juanma don't cross his path. He'd beat Bernard Dunne though
Too late but yes Munroe was a great bet after their last fight. I didn't get why the bookies had it so tight either. Martinez was well overrated because of that Dunne KO (even though Dunne had shown a dodgy chin in the past).
Having said that, this fight was closer than last time, although never in doubt coming down the stretch.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
