Muhammad Ali Was Honored By The NAACP Tonight...
It was great seeing him honored and receive a standing ovation but my heart went out to him. A curtain came up and he was sitting ther in a chair, looking old and trembling badly. His wife standing behing him spoke for him as if he wasnt even in the room " Muhammad would say...My husband would want you to know..."etc. I dont blame her for that as she is his voice now. But he had one of the most influenial voices in history and that has to be hard for him. At one point he positioned his hands at his sides, and you could see it in him that he was making an attempt to stand up. After moving his hands, his body didnt move an inch, but you could just tell that he was making every effort he could as unnoticable as it was. I doubt anyone watching noticed this, but I did. His parkinsons has clearly gotten worse and his body has weakened a lot, but he is tough as ever. His body may be a shell of its former self but he is still the greatest.
