How did this escape the eyes of the officials and the other fighters trainer. There is no way margarito could cheat. There is supposedly too many eyes watching each wrapping of each fight. How would he escape the overseers?

Im just saying the court likes a little respect shown,if your in it,even if you are innocent,show some respect,boxing commissions are no different. If your in it as far as trouble,spit shining,and kissing a little ass cant hurt you,but showing up looking like Tommy Lee isnt going to help you.

How did this escape the eyes of the officials and the other fighters trainer. There is no way margarito could cheat. There is supposedly too many eyes watching each wrapping of each fight. How would he escape the overseers?

If the reports are correct,and I wasnt there so I cant say,it was slid in to the wrap pads.When your wrapping a fighter,you usually have the pad pre-made just to expedite matters,it goes right over the knuckles and then gets taped down in to the wrap.
All I do know is theyve admitted to soaking the gauze,which is technically legal,but thats really pushing it. If they slipped a hard insert in to the wrap pads,1 year isnt long enough. Ali used to have inserts,but they were legal rubber inserts to protect his hands better.
I wasnt there,and its not my fight,so I dont know what happened,but if theyve allready suspended him for a year,theyre pretty sure they have something. Unless of course the Guvernator leaned on the comission really hard.
And I dont care what Bob says,he'll book in Cali again once this all blows over.
