Probably not a lot of baseball fans on this forum, but for those that are... I hope you've been watching the WBC games this year. I think it's a wonderful event, in that it promotes baseball worldwide. I was able to attend the last Puerto Rico-Netherlands game and the atmosphere was electric. And good for the Netherlands for having beaten the heavily favored Dominicans. Having a heavy underdog like that reach the 2nd round does wonders for the interest in the sport.

So on to the 2nd round go: The U.S., Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and Netherlands will play in Miami. And Cuba, Mexico, Japan, and Korea will play in San Diego. Great shet!!

LOL.... Puerto Rico's on a roll right now. I think we play Venezuela next. If I had my druthers, I'd rather have either Puerto Rico and the US moving on to the next round, or Puerto Rico and Holland. (Don't like Venezuela).

I like all teams in the 2nd round But I already bet "un GANCHO" of Black Label that Netherlands will also win the US.
