Watching the fight, you had the feeling that Afalabi could have done that much earlier if he wasn't such a lazy, clowning fighter.

Gotta agree with that one quisqueya. Enzo looked like he would be on his way out with any well timed shot. I've never been a fan of the big man. He's got one hell of a punch but is just a bit too slow and not enough of an athlete for my liking.

He needs to call it a day I think & get into MMA or whatever it is he's now into, because IMO the Haye defeat finished him as a fighter. I know he'd lost to Swaby, but I think the Haye fight made him lose his self-belief, and the inactivity probably just made it worst. Ironically I think he would've beaten Banks. Afolabi is very impressive when you consider he didnt actually have an amateur career. Nice to see a Londoner from my sides do well, and hats off to Big Enz, he's a real class act as he showed at the end, but I think he should join JC in retirement.

What does a "Londoner from my sides" mean, Jaz?

Enzo has always been chinny and always been carefully matched.

7/1 about Afolabi didn't look a bad bet

Enzo was sloppy and it showed, I say he should come back but another showing like that and its over.

A South Londoner. You haven't heard that expression? You're obviously not keepin it real & bein down wit da kidz, Fenster

1/20 for Maccrinelli looked stupid, but once you find out that Afolabi has never fought an ams fight in his life, his record looks better, especially as his only loss was on points to Allan Green, a division below, and on only his 4th fight. I reckon he might be alright, he certainly looked better than Jonathan bloody Banks

Damn, i'm just not up to speed anymore, so Afolabi did it for South Londoners ()

What they said about Afolabi was true... what he lacked in amateur experience he sorted through the gym.

Enzo Calzaghe must be incredibly pissed off now, Macca gettin' KO'd and Bradley Pryce on the same night, Joe retired, Lockett and Rees showing losses, pullin his hair outI bet

Enzo was terrible from the start.Afolabi had a sloppy jab and even that was going through Enzos guard. When Afolabi was taking his punches i think he ran out of idears.Enzo was lucky he got through round 3 he has learned how to hold though after the Haye fight so thing are looking up
