Just saw a middleweight fight, in which fighter A landed repeated low blows AND rabbit punches, and the ref just kept saying "keep 'em up!". AFter what I counted to be 7 low blows--and that did NOT include the borderline punches, some of which COULD have been called low as well-- fighter B INTENTIONALLY threw a low punch and REALLY did some damage. Fighter A took the full 5 minutes, and the ref deducted a point from B.

OK, now get this. Fighter A, as soon as the fight resumed, most likely INTENTIONALLY hit B low, got a warning only, and then in a clinch about 30 seconds later threw 3 lefts into B's groin. B went to a knee, complaining to the ref, and the ref STARTED COUNTING AS IF IT WERE A KNOCKDOWN!!!

When can a governing body actually DO SOMETHING about shoddy refereeing? Judges get suspended, etc., BUT WHAT ABOUT REFS?

Several point deductions in an unfair way can totally change the outcome of a fight, even moreso than judges scorecards--- not to mention DQ'ing a fighter as well in a biased manner.
