From 4.40 to 5.45 on this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvEjY...eature=related Roach talks about side stepping and angles, including how it is always a good idea to duck under incoming punches like hooks so you don't get caught when going to the side. My question is should a tall fighter ever use this technique? Just wondered as i haven't seen many tall fighters bobbing under punches. If it isn't advisable to use this technique then how else does a tall fighter move to the side of an opponent without risking moving into a hook and giving it more power. Usually in sparring i step to the side vs shorter opponents but like Roach points out this can be dangerous and i have been caught with hooks before just stepping of to the side. Anyone got any advice on this? thanks, Stef.
