I know there is a whole section for this, but I only have a quick question and I feel i'm tipping over one side of the geeky scale going into that section (no offense meant to anyone that does.. It's awesome we have that section)
Okay, when you have to do training for fights, can anyone get really good rankings for any of them?
I hired the game for a week, and could do okay with free sparring. I would get either the second highest or highest ranking..
But with the one where you have to throw combo's, I would always go to do an uppercut and if the analog stick was just a little bit out, it would throw a hook and f'k up the combo and you do a few of those and you get a rubbish score.. even when I tried to do it slow and precise I still got low score..
Also the other one I realllllly struggled with was slipping the maize ball... I got a little bit better at it and got like, 2 slips in per the ball swinging one way, then 2 the other, but still never got that good grade on it...
Anyway, I LOVE this game... I hired for a week as I said and barely scraped the surface of how much fun and longevity I think I could get out of it... It takes everything that round 3, and for that matter round 2 did, and just does it much better... They are realllllly getting close to the ultimate boxing game.. which is awesome because some other sporting games have been worked on for ages and still don't come close to the experience of the real thing.. Soccer and basketball are two I can think of... Never really been impressed with games that replicate those sports... one basketball game came close "Ballers" that was enormous fun...
But boxing is the sporting king and Fight Night round 4 is the best experience of it yet (without actually pulling gloves on yourself)
