I'm sooooooo sick and tire of his fat ass. He has drove ND football straight in the ground. Losing to Uconn and Navy was the last straw. Please somebody fire him.

It seems that the Patriots curse ain't over as none of those who were with the winning team along with Belichick did anything at all once they found a job outside New England.

I figure this is Notre Dame's best chance at getting Urban Meyer. Tebow is leaving this season and I am not sure he's got a plan after Tim leaves.
I think the guy who could turn Notre Dame around the fastest is Paul Johnson, but his persona doesn't fit in with Notre Dame, he's a southern boy and Georgia Tech is I think his dream job, he's signed on til 2016.
Notre Dame has big problems right now, I don't think they will get better anytime soon.
Drove it into the ground? I think they were already there...and few things make me happier than watching Notre Dame get embarrased every week on their absurd national television deal. ND fans need to get over their man crush on Meyer...he aint going anywhere.
Most bad government has grown out of too much government. Thomas Jefferson
I'm also a big fan of ND and have been since I was a kid. I think Weis is as good as gone, I think he will land back in the pros as an offensive cordinator (thats one thing hes good at head coacing not so much). I think the best fit and i have been saying it for awhile is Urban Meyer its always been his dream to coach ND, but for some reason that falls through wouldn't be apposed to Jim Harbaugh taking over the program, you see what he has done to Stanford in his short time there.
I just heard something on ESPN that Urban Meyer said he plans on staying at florida for as long as florida will keep him. Of course thats what he would say though, especially since the season isn't over yet.
Why not a chance for Harbaugh? Just because the last Stanford coach that went to ND didn't do so well doesn't mean the next one would do the same. Thats like saying when Ben Roethlisberger was drafted from Miami Ohio that he wasn't going to be a good QB in the league because no other QB that came from that school did well in the pros.
I mean don't get me wrong I would rather have Urban Meyer but if he decides to stay in Florida then I'm be happy with giving Jim Harbaugh the keys.
I don't think Miles will go to Notre Dame could be wrong but I don't see that happening, What about Brian Kelly Cinncys coach?
I can't tell you that QB's will be bad from Miami of Ohio but I can tell you Florida QB's (more specifically Steve Spurrier coached QB's) don't do well in the NFL (although I think Tebow is different enough to give him a shot). Texas Tech QB's don't do well in the NFL, Run & Shoot QB's have never done well in the NFL. You're taking your chances drafting an FSU QB as well. You don't want linebackers from the Big Ten either, unless it's Penn State and even then, they are never as good as the linebackers from elsewhere (SEC, PAC10, ACC, Big12), they have no speed....look at all the top LB's in the NFL, very few are from the Big Ten: Pat Willis (Ole Miss - SEC), Ray Lewis (Miami - ACC/BigEast), Jon Beason (Miami - ACC), Lance Briggs (Arizona - Pac10), Curtis Lofton (Oklahoma - Big12), Barrett Ruud (Nebraska - Big 12), Brian Cushing (USC - Pac 10), DeMeco Ryans (Alabama - SEC)....have I proven my point?
If Notre Dame went back to Stanford and took their coach and ended up having a couple of rough seasons it would be very bad. I think one thing that bothers people is that they aren't in a conference and therefore it's National Championship or nothing for the players and coaches and that may be too much pressure on those guys.
It's a done deal. Good bye fat ass.

Well I know Notre Dame would like a well established coach and that list is topped by Urban Meyer and Bob Stoops.
Other than that I'm not sure what they will do, I only hope they don't go after Skip Holtz as he's the HC of my ECU Pirates AAAARRRRGH!!!!
To keep up to date with what's going on with them you can checkout Footballscoop.com and that will have some good reporting on this whole process.
I still think Brian Kelly Cincys coach is a top candidate as well.
I just hope they get someone good who will turn that football program around.
