3 and half years ago he beats Danny Green convincingly, it was a very good performance. In that time he has fought Sam Soliman two more times, a washed up Shannon Taylor and a host of South American cab drivers causing major shortages of Taxi availability in Argentina! How quickly it all turns around in boxing, Mundine has chosen an easy path that none of us know where that path will lead. Green has come back and taken on RJJ and although he is 40 was still regarded as being to slick for Danny Green. Bang goes Green and he KO's RJJ in 1 round, all of a sudden Green is a feared fighter. Hopkins doesn't want to know Green and pretends to not know where Australia is. Green will find it difficult to get fights, who will want to fight him? As for Mundine, he now says he will fight at Junior Middleweight

?? I don't think i have ever seen a more mis- managed fighter.
Green won't find it hard to find a big name opponent. Any fighter who upsets a legend will almost immediately get a world title fight.
Look at Amir, he beat Barrera and got a world title shot immediately despite coming of a one round ko loss to an unknown.
Other fighters like Hasim Rahman and arguably Ricky Hatton have gone on to have lengthy careers with multiple world title shots off the back of a single unlikely and high profile win.
Green is massive in Australia and has a huge fanbase there so he will easily negotiate title shot if he wants one, and will probably be able to pursuade them to come to him.
Sure, Hopkins may not want him, but guys like Marco Huck and Zsolt Erdei will likely be happy to sign up for a fight with the Jones Jr killer.
Look at Tarver's career, he's had several high profile fights off the back of his Jones ko win, it got rematches with Jones and Johnson, a title shot against Woods after Hopkins beat him, and even a second chance at Dawson after Dawson beat him comfortably first time around.
My guess is Danny Green will get at least a couple decent fights out of this.
