Thanks. Interesting article.I suggest all read it.

Thus far, Ward is only guilty of getting involved with suspect characters. His knowledge of this, makes him just as accountable as Mosley ever was (I don't blame Mosley in the slightest), if not more, because he knows about Conte's past. If I were a professional athlete, I would never get involved with people like this. They bring into question your obviously amazing athletic abilities. Still, as I said, he is only guilty of associating with shadowy people. No one has any right (yet) to call out 'DOPER' in relation to his win over Kessler. I've watched the guy's entire career, he has a lot of natural talent and I think he would've beaten Kessler, doping or not. Still, dopers don't deserve to be in the ring, and if doping is proven, I think he should be punished in a far harsher manner than Mosley. You SHOULDN'T get involved with people like this, especially not if you have a bright career ahead of you.

Yes I dont no about this, with the reputation of Conteh, I think the steroids were in the past and I think Conteh has learnt his lesson but personally I think no doubt he would still be at it now if he wasnt reported.

Bit like Chambers the runner even though Conteh and his THG steroids basically runied his career he is still working with him.

Im sorry but Mosley is guilty as sin, I have read Dwain Chambers book the 100 metre runner and he lets it all out and actully doesnt blame Conteh, even though he admits Conteh did groom him to a certain extent. But Conteh was upfront and didnt tell any bullshit he told Dwain and the other athletes involved in taking the Steroids the truth what the consequences would be and exactly how this would improve performance etc etc.

So your telling me all the athletic pro's new exactly what they were putting into there body was illegal but Mosley was kept in the dark?? Come on mate only a fool would believe that, even Conteh has gone on record and said he has nothing to hide he didnt decieve anyone he gave them an oppurtunity he didnt force anything on them the final decision was down to them.

The stuff Andre Ward (and Marlon Byrd, who was the first to give Conte a shot) get from his company that has all been cleared by the anti-doping officials, if it's good enough for the officials, it should be good enough for us. I mean as long as there is this transparency, then I don't really see the

At first I found Conte repulsive (and to an extent still do) but out of this whole BALCO thing it's been Greg Anderson and Conte who have been real about everything. Anderson is training high school kids now making a legitimate living after really not doing all that much wrong in the first place. Conte should be allowed the same freedoms, especially if he's applying his knowledge legitimately.

Think about how much of an asset both of these guys (Anderson and Conte) could be in the respective fields. Anderson, a guy who has worked with the elite of the elite in baseball, training high school kids. How much of an asset is that for the kids? It's a huge opportunity for each and every one of them, thus Anderson can do a lot of good in the future for a lot of kids. Same goes for Conte, he was obviously damn good at what he did if he really did supply some sort of magic drug that fueled top athletes from Barry Bonds and Andy Pettite to Marion Jones and Shane Mosley. If he can apply his knowledge within the scope of the anti-doping rules, why is that necessarily a bad thing? These guys shouldn't continue to be persecuted after the fact. It was a good read. If you look at it from the perspective of Ward and Eddie Chambers, why wouldn't you give Conte a second chance? Why not utilize what can be a potential asset to you and your training?

I don't have a problem with this being reported (Majesty will soon be in here to question that), but this automatically isn't a bad thing.

Why is Conte not in jail? There's no way he's suddenly legit.

You're obviously more schooled on the controversy than I am. I need to rethink my position on the whole Mosley thing, first some more research on BALCO.
