I recon it showed he has heart and chin but not much upstairs to be able to make it far in the game.

He stood in the same stance getting the same leg chopped out continually

    He needs another coach.

If you have a damaged lead leg you have to be taught how to pull it back behind you on the launch of the other guys leg strike, It gives you time and distance because he is commmited and has to go through with whats he starts. You switch stance and move in up the other side as the attackers foot lands you switch around it and your in distance to bang with your fists.

Either that or get taught whats called an entry technique where you lift your front knee and leg up for protection of it and skip into range off the rear leg at the exact correct moment off the other guys movemnts and bridge the gap in saftey with your bad leg up and your rear out of distance and so you deal with them at arms reach and grapple or control them just as you land into strike range then strike once your stance is grounded.

There is one UfC guy who does this (arms out slightly front leg comes up high quickly to protect the ribs and the leg and in he goes into punch range) but I forget who it is ?

Anderson silva does that... I thought Kimbo did good, Houston Alexander was no joke the guy knocked out Keith Jardine in 1 round! He beat a legit UFC fighter and no one can ever take that from him! Im proud of Kimbo... His leg problem concerns me though he had about 5 months to recover and obviously it still troubles him .. im worried it might be permanent damage or he might need operation or shots like suggested on the show...

Agreed I thought he did really weel, Talk about a big big improvement on the ground, Kimbo is for real when he says he wants to learn because he shows that he does want to be better.

I like Kimbo great hype man, really really humble guy who will get better...Will he ever be on top probably not but still respect the guy for taking the sport seriously he could have walked away and faded into oblivion after the last organization went defunct because Kimbo lost..

Could have been a better fight but consider the circumstances, the pressure and fact Huston was the one not wanting to engage...Kimbo will be around a while I hope nhe does anyhow....

He is with ATT a great camp, one of the best in the business and they will make him even better in the future

I like him too, theres a big spot for him in UFC waiting, your right his ground game was cool he has been working hard and he can bang.
I remember his corner saying cut him off cut off the ring .Fukin wrong.

Thats fine if your legs ok but think about it you head out fast to the same way that yuor leg is damaged you are opening up the leg and knee joint more for the attacker to catch it even harder as your weight goes onto it. Kimbo should of gone to the cage behind him to Kimbos right and come at him fast that way,so it forces his opponent to trun around completly. If Kiimbo came around the cage it would have him either go backwards if he was mentally insistant on circleing right or head back to centre in which case Kimbe stays put and makes him come to him.'The centre of the cage is no place for Kimbo if someones having pot shots at his knee he needs to fight closer to the cage which will stop them from teeing off on his knee if he is smart and gets into using the right angles to take a bit of the power off their strikeing leg.

Also I would have told him To to simply head the other way around the cage opposite to the right hand circler, just leave him and make him look stupid he will come back on a different angle or back around the reverse way around the cage and stick to the cage and you'll have your decent leg facing his side instead of your damaged one.

Kimbo Slice will eventually find himself in pro wrestling....he's not cut out for MMA

I like the guy, he's basically just a genuine humble one. Though he did improve drastically over the few couple of last months, he still lacks some crucial things to stick it up to MMA, notably a lot more ground game and some leg kicks protection as it almost did cost him his victory at some point.
