Mosley Plans To Take Mayweather Out, Then Pacquiao - Boxing News

"Sugar" Shane Mosley is coming for blood on May 1. The fight he's been chasing for several years is now here. He defends his WBA welterweight title against Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
"I'm ready to go. I'm happy. It's May 1st and its something that I've been wanting. It's something that the fans have been getting a great deal of excitement out of. Everybody should come out and watch it because it's history," Mosley told AOL's FanHouse.
Mosley says Mayweather's days of cherry picking opponents are over. He feels Mayweather was forced into taking this challenge because the fight with Pacquiao fell apart. He plans to "take Floyd out" in May.
"Floyd fought a lot of guys who were past their prime or weren't as fast as him or as big as him. He picked and choosed. This fight I believe he got pushed into because the Pacquiao fight fell out. He got pushed into this fight. He really didn't want it. I can't wait to get in the ring and sink my teeth into this fight," Mosley said.
After Mayweather, Mosley plans to target Manny Pacquiao, who defends his WBO title against Joshua Clottey on March 13.
"After I fight Mayweather, I will then go ahead and fight Pacquiao just like I wanted to, jult like I told the world it should have happened in the first place," Mosley said.
