Where is Bilbo?

I don't know about anyone else but I miss him being around here. He's been around for as long as I can remember so it's not the same without him being around. So what's the deal with Mr. Baggins? Where has he gone and what is he up to? I would have said the same thing about Booze, but he appears to be posting a little more again now.

I remember mentioning brucelee in the other thread, and I haven't seen him around in months. Maybe Bilbo and Brucelee eloped?

I haven't been here all that long but the rantings of the hobbit made this place funny, it's also good to see hattonthehammer posting regularly also.

Yeah, totally agree.

You need people who are a bit left field to keep it interesting and fun. Bilbo is a really good poster and I really enjoy a lot of his posts, sometimes he could drive you a bit mad, but that's just the mischievous hobbit in him. HTH seemed to be quiet for a while, but it's good to see him up and running again too. Hopefully TM will make a comeback one day too!

He makes the odd John Ruiz thread

For those interested I will be fighting Meunouk \ Fantana on April 3rd in Manchester a few hours prior to Haye v Ruiz.

This will be the first time we have met in person after 9 years of posting , texting and shouting (online ps3) abuse to each other. We have always debated who would win in a straight fight between us so thought it best to do it around 7 pm the night of the Haye fight in Manchester - that way he has plenty of time to come round before the main event.

Wouldn't want him to miss it.

Well thanks for being concerned about me Miles! Using this as another excuse to talk about me: I am back now reading posts and all. I will probably never be back to posting hard-core all night like I used to, unless something bad happens to me.

Facebook: The only people Bilbo really wanted to talk to (except for miles) are/were chatting with him on facebook. However, now that I deleted facebook because of concerns about getting my professional license, I expect him to come back here to chat with me.

I always accept "friendship" invitations so I end up having a bunch of people who wouldn't give me a ride to the store labeled as my friends. I would also have parties and the only people who would actually come are my real friends who knew about the festivities anyway.
So really, it did have very limited positive communication for myself.

I've got no real reason not to sign up anymore, but I just find the idea of having lots of people being able to easily look me up a bit spooky. I really need to get over my fear of people. On the flip side I also worry that I will have no friends and that's never cool either.

I'm sure YB mentioned that you can sign up without using your real name or something. I think that kind of anonymity sounds more for me. I always say later, later, later, but I think I probably will sign up before long.

I bear the name of a famous pirate over there for my own privacy and use another email which nobody knows about just to make sure that old timers with who I wasn't really friend with won't stalk me... idem for the countless kids I used to have when I worked in the summer camp.

And for Bilbo, I've heard that Missy finally got a hand on him and that he's now trapped in her closet. She occasionally let him out by night to eat a cookie or two and then trap him back in.
