Terrible state that heavyweight division is in. Just terrible. Ruiz offered nothing.

Good win for Haye. Haye needed a win against a named fighter. Now a few more people will know who he is.

How do you think both Klitchkos would have done aginst Ruiz tonight then - what would be the prediction?

Id be surprised if they stopped him

Pretty similar busted him up then the towel would of been thrown in mid to late rounds.

Lyle if this guy was american you'd be hanging off his nuts and so would the rest of the american public and fightwriters alike.

That was one of the best heavyweight fights I have seen in a very long time, and why? Well it wasn't a slow paced hug fest that we've become acustomed to. Not to mention that at least one of the combatents came in to the ring in good shape.

Punches were thrown there were knock downs and plenty of blood and snot. Ruiz didnt offer much.. hmmm not sure i entirely agree... he kept coming forward, threw punches and attacked. Not his fault that his oponant was to slick to get hit.

Off the back of that performance I don't know that haye will beat either klit. But what I would say is he has a better chance and a lot more to offer than any other heavyweight out there.

He at least deserves a shot.

Is this fight on American TV

I heard something about it being replayed before the Jones-Hopkins PPV.

What American fighter has American fans (Lyle in particular) hanging on their nuts? What the hell does him not being from America have anything to do with anything? If Haye was American even more people would be saying he's a loud mouth prick, picking on has been heavyweights and circus freaks, and already backed out of fights with the brothers Klit.

It was a good performance, I'm not going to take anything away from it at all. But I'm still not convinced that he's the be all end all, he is stating his case, gotta keep that momentum going now.

Ahh good for the twat...He got a stoppage against a rugged fighter I bet the VSB on just for hopes.....

Now that he has done that against a durable veteran...Lets see him against some prime hwts that are actually good!!!!!

OOOPPPSSSS...My mistake forgot the division we spoke of...

Well man up and fight a Klitschko...

I wonder How Haye would have done against a Prime Tyson?

I think with Vitali he would have gone rounds, but still lost.

Against Wlad the result would have been very similar Ruiz was just walking right in and Wlad's straight punches wouldn't have missed at all.

I wouldn't mind seeing him in against a post prime Tua to be honest.
