X360 or PS3

I want to get either an X360 or a PS3, but I'm not sure which to get or even if there are enough games around that I would like, to make it worthwhile buying the console.

I don't like shoot em ups or Call of Duty or anything like that. I Like Tennis, Boxing, Golf & Football games really

I got my PS3 at long last last month and I couldn't be happier. I only have GTA4 and FNR4 so far, but I've been having a lot of fun. The graphics are fantastic and the playability really good. I have been killing prostitutes and living out some kind of gay Joe Calzaghe fantasy. There are about a dozen other games I want to pick up in the near future too. I'm not too sure about the X360, so will only comment on what I have...but I am well satisfied with my PS3.

Well you don't have to pay for PS3 online, where as you do with Xbox 360. It depends really have you ever had an Xbox in the past ? i personally can't get the hang of the Xbox controller. I played it round my cousins house, and i couldn't get the hang of it really. Where as i feel right at home with the PS3 controller.

I like my 360 just fine, it has red ringed once (which happens to most of the older ones) from what I understand the newer ones don't have the problem.
There are more games on the 360 and a larger online community. The PS3 has a stronger engine and a blu-ray player going for it.

I would base your choice off of games personally, as some are exclusive to each system.

All a matter of opinion, like I said the games should be the factor you use to buy a system. For someone like Big H that's into sports games there really isn't a difference in the systems the next step is being comfortable with the controller. Go to the electronics store and use both see which one is more comfortable.

I have a both consoles, the PS3 is superior but the 360 has a lot of merit also.

PS3 being a blue ray player and having an internet bowser is a plus.
Also now it also plays the Netflix PS3 streaming disc here in the USA, more movies to watch for free. I don't have a 360 but obviously 360 has a better line up for games.

Use to swear by Playstation and have owned all versions....but the 2nd version pissed me all to hell....went through 3 models with "disk read error" at start up,even the 'skinny' one.So I went with a 360 last year instead of the PS3....all comes down to titles and controller for me.So many are cross over now you can find what you want.....Ive been playing Fallout 3 for the last 10 months haha...but have not turned it on in a long while.

internet browser has been done away with after the last update(u have to do it to play online ) but that aside I still like the ps3, not sure if there really is much difference between the 2,
ps3 has free online play and bluray support, other than that it comes down to which exclusive games you like the most.
Also never had a problem with the ps3 and 3 xbox's red ringed on me

Haven't even switched my PS3 on since i got a nice graphics card for my PC.
