Who is currently the best trainer(s) out there? I know this topic is somewhat redundant, but I did a search and the last thread on the topic was in reference to the best of all time, not current best.
Thoughts?

"The day I clipped the Butterfly's wings."
Emmanuel Stewart. That's my opinion.
I can imagine myself learning well from him and not feeling talked down to or aggravated by the overstatements of Atlas or the understatments of Yoel Judah and Roger Mayweather.
IMO there's no clear cut BEST trainer out there right now, each one has their own traits or methods that help specific types of fighters, Roach has done wonders with Pacquiao and Khan, but has other fighters whom IMO don't look to hot (for example Martirosyan), but the same can be said about other trainers
but some standouts are
Freddie Roach
Emmanuel Steward
Joe Goossen
Nazzim Richardson
Ronnie Shields
Teddy Atlas
Dan Birmingham
Nacho Beristain
Rudy Perez

I'm not gonna go with the one most WILL say and i'm gonna go with a man that probably turned Wlad Klits career back around after leading greats such as Tommy Hearns, Mike McCallum and Gerald Mclellan to their greatness, Emanuel Steward. I don't think that Roach could have turned Wlad around the way Steward has and I also don't think he could have created the fighting machine Manny did out of the very unorthodox Tommy Hearns.
On the flipside, could Manny have made Pac into the fighter Roach has? Maybe not, but I also don't think Pac would be as open to a good counter puncher under Steward either.
Kind of hard to argue with Roach's results.
A close second for me in Brother Naz, I only hear good advice during his corner sessions.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
