    Default Finishing off an opponent

    I've created a fighter for my PS3.

I can not seem to deliver the KO blow though!

I just won a fight 10/9 for every round (bar one) had my opponent in trouble countless times but couldn't finish him off!

Is there a power shot or something I'm missing?
This signiture is up as ante in a 'sig-bet'. Wanna bet anyone?

Aite mate. Bloody hell, your an old face!

Well the only thing i can say is that it seems as if you are doing everything right up untill you have your man hurt.

    What is 'countless times'?

I find that in a fight where there are plenty 'stun' moments, there is usually a flash knock down somewhere along the line. So maybe your exaggerating on the 'countless' part

If not then like I say, maybe your just loosing the plot as soon as your guy is hurt? Just keep close and turn up the heat a little.

I would say you should look to co-ordinate your attacks so that you bum-rush your guy immediately after throwing the sort of shots you assume will 'stun' your opponent. That way your always in a position to capitalise.

856 punches over 10 rounds actually ain't a great load of punches for FNR4. So maybe your general output is maybe a little too conservative to accommodate knockdowns...?

That being said. You won easily so don't worry too much

The trick is to get in close to your opponent after he's staggered back.
Keep going forward and throw bombs.

I'm starting a new career as Barrera on GOAT mode and must admit that I am finding it much harder to score knockouts. I'm 8-0 so far with only 1 KO to my name. I stun the opponents all the time and sometimes score flash knockdowns, but I always seem to go to the cards. I much prefer the difficulty levels on this game as the other ones were far too easy, but I would like more stoppages.

You can adjust the sliders to make for more realistic fights. If you experiment, you be amazed.

Getting better. Now 11-0 with 3 stoppages. One of them was even from stunning the guy and then putting him down. I must have stunned him about 20 times though and his energy was really gone by the end.

This game puts blisters on your fingers!

You need to learn to counter, make your opponent miss and make them pay. I didn't play online much about 8 fights, but i never lost. You just need to learn to counter.

I use the duck and step move a lot and it seems to give me lots of Kayos. Its just like a fireball from street fighter (any fighting game dorks out there??)

Consider what you choose as your characters power shot, too. I like to duck and throw a solid left hook... You can't adjust the type of shot to be your money shot after you make the character, so remember before you hit "Begin Career" :P

I rarely go to the cards, bc if someone is a pansy the whole fight I'll throw myself at them till one of us gets Kayoed in the last 2 rounds!
