Conflicts of interest in boxing.
I think there was a thread about this recently, but I couldn't find it. Before it was about Steward as an example if he could use his announcing position to make a certain potential opponent of one of his fighters look good or bad in the public eye to effect the networks so he make a potential better payday for his fight (i.e. making a better payday for himself by percentage) OR by picking an easier fight by hyping a guy that isn't that good.
Furthermore, I know it is common practice for boxers to be their own promoter. Isn't it the promoter's responsibility to pay the judges?
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
