Default What would you change/keep for Round 5 game?

Like others have agreed. I think Round 4 is so far the best boxing game out as a whole. It is not just a smash button fest but you get to change their clothes, appearance, ring entrance, etc. Pick their boxing style, their best punch, etc. The whole blocking, ducking, leaning on the ropes, cutting the corners, etc. I just find it awesome as a gamer and a boxing fan.

Now, for Round 5, if you could change/keep the same/add/get rid of anything, what would it be?

    I would add in

    * a few more attributes to make for bigger differences in footwork...it wouldn't be more fun but add to the challenge if you fight a "runner" it would allow you to truly outbox a slower slugger

    * I would like for fighters to be able to set up punches a little better

    * I would like for each single punch to be rated rather than just left hand/right hand...that's too general

    * I would also like for the KO's and knock downs to be a bit more realistic. Flash knockdowns are a must, body shot KO's need to look different, the doctor/ref stoppages need to be tweaked, and they have to bring back a fighter getting caught on the ropes while hurt (like the Mercer-Morrison fight) and there need to be stoppages from that.

definetly more realistic knockdowns and flash knockdowns!! also the abilty to go up and down mutiple weight classes instead of just one.........and maybe add in a few of the more minor belts like commonwealth etc as u go up the ranks and title elimanators etc

This game is best boxing games I have played but - as i've been saying since they removed them after Knockout Kings 2001 - bring back one punch knockouts !!

Thats a major part of boxing and it needs to be in for the game to be more realistic. You can get flash knocked down so to speak but are always able to get up twice (newbies to the game wont be able to get up a second time) before you know the guy will be staying down. Despite the game's brilliance this is one major flaw to me.

    Heres hoping
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate

The 1 punch KO is vital....the game right now you can knock someone down like 8 times and they ALWAYS try to get back up. There should be a "sweet spot" where you counter or just land a flush power punch and it's "lights out" depending on the power of course.

There needs to be more disparity between POWER fighters and SPEED fighters...speed fighters won't necessarily hurt anyone but they will slow you down and frustrate you with defense and that is really hard to do right now with the way the game plays.

So basically I'm saying KO's need to be harder to acheive but also when you get someone down they stay there more often
