Ringo Starr was nothing flash on the drums, but he helped make the sound. We shouldn't underestimate him. You wouldn't really want a flash drummer on any of those Beatles albums.

Couldn't agree more sir. Listen to them with Pete Best. Clearly something is missing. Ringo was the one who gave the Beatles that extra zing. Happy birthday pal.

His relative simplicity and his fills were his greatest strengths IMO.
