    Default Boxing meets MMA.

I was watching the Toney interview the other day and it made me think what heavyweight boxer would have the best chance in MMA. Wlad? Vitali ? Haye? I dunno , maybe Ruiz
    What do you think?

well wasn't Vitali a world champion in kickboxing as well?

i know one fighter who would probably excel in MMA believe it or not would be Kermit Cintron, seeing how he was a college wrestler before even getting into boxing

I think Vitali would have a great shot at being successful at MMA. Unorthodox style, height, reach, and punching power.
    The key is Self-discipline.

...jst before someone posts it Pele Reid

Hell George Foreman had only boxed 1 year before winning a Gold Medal in the Olympics so I figure he was just so powerful, raw, and strong he'd whip the shit out of anyone.

John L. Sullivan, given that boxing was more like MMA when he fought

Wlad, Vitali, Lennox Lewis, Tyson, anyone that had legit 1 punch KO power with 12 oz gloves would just WRECK anyone using 4 oz gloves

Imagine Cintron landing shots with 4 oz. gloves . I was actually really interested to see how he would do in MMA when he was talking about it a while back. He's one of the very few boxers who wouldn't just be a side-show in the sport.

A boxer will probably get beat in mma. And an mma fighter would probably get beat in boxing. I don't really even see the interest either way. Tom brady is a better qb than sergio martinez and sergio would beat his ass in the ring. So what .......
