Default one more Haye thread and I'm gonna throw up all over my PC

Seriously, so much hype over a boxer who fights at most twice a year and avoids the best in his division? It's not even the case that he is fighting in a week's time or something! This has been going on for much too long now - I guess the hype began a couple of years ago and I see no end to it. No matter what this guys does or doesn't do - there will always be a couple of active topics about him on a daily basis.
To a lesser extent this concerns other "hot" fighters as well: Floyd Maywheather, Froch, ... - they get more attention (and money) than they really deserve.
On the opposite end are all those young talented guys who won't get their shot because they are both too unknown and too dangerous to try them against the hot HBO names.

[This is just me venting, I don't really expect something is gonna change ]

I agree with you on all points but for some reason people get certain guys stuck in their heads and never ending debates about the same old thing ensue over and over and over again.....The reasons you stated are the reasons why people start with the stupid nut hugger hater bullshit...

Poster 1 makes 25 threads about fighter X....Fighter X has not had a fight in 6 months and does not have one scheduled....Poster 2 says to poster 1 don't you know anything else about the sport then fighter X or why are you obsessed with fighter X....Poster 1 then gets offended because poster 2 brought up a valid point and because he thinks fighter X is the greatest thing going can not understand why everyone does not want to talk about fighter X and insist poster 2 just doesn't like fighter X....Poster 2 then in turn states poster 1 is just hanging on fighter X nuts because he has nothing else to talk about and the back and forth ensues while others join in.........

Then the forum is filled with countless post so one poster can take some sort of dig at another by making another thread on fighter X that contains nothing but what was in the other 10 threads just to try and piss someone off...So another poster feels the need to make another thread on fighter X to say how shitty he is and how he does not understand why everyone is talking about him and AGAIN it is the same as was said in another thread..

These are the reasons why Forums die out and people move on because it gets to be too much....The same issue ensues somewhere else on line later down the road......

Fighters, promoters and such do not hurt boxing the fans who do this stupid shit do because anyone new who is gravitating to wards the sport sees this nonsense and says fuck it I am gonna watch tennis

It always happens in stages though.

The thing I love about this place is when people discuss fighters I've not really heard of, so that I can learn about them and watch vids on them. It's a great place to expand your boxing knowledge.

But it just doesn't get old fishing for a reaction from Lyle on anything Haye or K related!

It's the boxing off season, there aint much too discuss anyway! September and October will be good boxing months. Loads to discuss.

I will give Haye some credit - he's done a great job of making himself a fighter that loads of people (myself included) wanna see get KTFO. That does sell tickets...

" I'm sick of people posting threads about David haye... So I'm going to post a thread about David haye... "

(you're such an idiot that literally throwing up all over your keyboard would be an intellectually impressive act for you to pull off )

Haterz hate that he's sexy right now. Doesn't impress me much. Speed is sexy. Muscles are sexy. Power is sexy. Knockouts are sexy. Great fashion sense is sexy. Talk to the hand.
