Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Wasnt bad action.
McBride floored Skelton but the referee didn't count - if he did, he probably would've been counted out. Scrappy fight and McBride, probably, should've beaten him.
Sprott looked quite good to be honest, very quick during all fights even if he took his foot off the pedal a bit in the semi final knowing he had Skelton in the final.
Ali Adams was shit.
I think it says a lot about the quality of the competition in this edition of Prizefighter that it takes nearly 24 hours until a thread is posted about it. A lot of old and inactive fighters on there, with a few novices as well.
I watched it after coming home at 1am, so had a bit of beer in me, and I wasn't a particularly tolerant viewer. I thought it was a bit dull for a lot of it, particularly McBride v Egobi, but it is the non-knockdown which should dominate the discussion really.
McBride has a really good right hand chopping across Skelton, but what made the ref (and me on first viewing) think it was a stumble was that Skelton fell in the direction the punch came from, rather than being knocked in the same direction the punch went.
This wasn't counted, and Skelton won 29-28 on all three cards. If it had been counted correctly, it'd have been 28-28, as Skelton won the other two rounds. I think Skelton would have made the ten count, he tried to get up, stumbled, then got up and didn't seemed too affected by it.
I think they need to give the heavies a rest for a few years now, as those who are likely to sign up are going to be the same old faces.
After Audley winning it in January, Sprott thinks he can get a European title fight and eventually a shot at Klit or Haye. Wishful thinking.

McBride deserved to go through, Skelton even admitted that he was floored. Thankfully Sprott won though, any other winner would have meant another embarrasing heavyweight would have been getting a shot at a higher level. I would rather see Sprott v Chisora than for Chisora to take on Klitshcko. In my opinion, it is a joke that Chisora deserves a shot.
What a shower of shit that Prizefighter was the standard in there made Sprott look like Mayweather, really really bad one of the worst ones.
Need to fuck these ones off Barry Hearn unless he can bring some quality on, I reckon Hammer would of had a shot last night it was that bad.
Well done Sprott, beat what was infront of him, although it wasn't much.
I had to skip through some of the 40st cuddles, was unbearable watching. I swear an in shape tough guy off the street could have held his own in that ring with most of them.
Hearn either needs to get some big names in there, or get much better at unearthing gems
