Default Who is going to pay for the Froch-Amerham PPV??

After paying 17 quid for the Kessler fight I said I was only going to pay for quality ppv events with good undercards so I wont be paying for it.

Also I am doing a mate a favour and working for him on Saturday night so I cant even change my mind now even if I wanted to.

It's on ppv for the Brits? Hell I would pay ppv for this in a heartbeat if I couldn't access it. It's a quality matchup.

Much better than that main event garbage on Nov. 13. And no I'm not talking about the Pac-Margo fight.

Nah I'm not paying. I've got tickets to a local card that night so I'll catch it on a stream when I get back.

For the record I am Welsh not English but I take your point.

I think us Brits are not as used to PPV as Americans so are more fussy when it comes to shelling out money for somthing that a few years ago would be free.

I thought you paid Primetime £6 a month (or something). Guess that is only for the shitty fights that no one is really arsed about.

Just seen they are charging £14.95 for this fight (although you get the whole card and Ward vs Bika) and then charging £9.95 for Pascal vs BHop.

Not paying this after having shelled out £14.95 for Haye/Harrison (my bad).

Will be on about 2300 because of the time difference.

I am an American but yeah we seemed to be getting accustomed to being raped by the promoters here in the states for crap that was shown for free 25 years ago on Saturday afternoon free tv.

I haven't been following boxing for awhile, but why the hell is it in Finland ? i remember both men saying they wern't happy with the location's "Germany" "England". But then again two European fighter's wouldn't sell well fighting in USA would it ? but surely there must of been a better place, i mean honestly can anyone remember the last big fight being held in Finland ?

Don't you Americans have to pay something silly like $60 for a ppv?

    That's £38.

Was all set for Monte Carlo before Froch had to pull out.

Monte Carlo wasn't available for today's date so Sauerland offered Helsinki as a neutral venue. Froch's team accepted the offer.
