He was actually doing OK vs. Tony before getting stopped.
Tony was having some trouble cornering him. Sergio was less seasoned and younger back then.
I would love to see Sergio avenge his loss.
Have Tony move up to 154 and challenge Sergio.

Just so that Sergio can avenge his loss. I think Sergio sparks Margarito out this time around.

I also think he should get Kermit back in the ring and settle that shit also. Sparking him the fuck out...

This is Sergio and I after his win vs. Bunema which I consider his coming out party...

Worth remembering that Tony probably had concrete in his gloves the night he beat Sergio. Williams fight could have gone either way so Sergio has never been beaten properly. He'd batter Margarito now. Hope he can cash in but I think he will be avoided.

I remember. The poor old "secret" had someone brought over who was a bigger secret.

Martinez career is very reminiscent of Winky Wrights. No-names in the States. Brought over to Britain as "opponents," look world-class bashing up decent Brits, then back across the pond to eventually become P4P "stars"

So who should Martinez fight next?
Fightning at 160, there simply isn't no money or worthy opponent there at that weight class. Even with AA saying superweights are to big for him, I expect for him to come back to middleweight. But I will have to go with Martinez winning that fight with his speed. Even still, not big money!
JCC Jr may be the biggest money fight at 160.

IMO, Martinex should drop back down to 154.
Cotto is the biggest payday. But I doubt if he wants any parts of Matinez.
K9 has a title and is very aggresive. No money in that fight.
DzinZiruk would be a good opponent but won't make any money.
Cintron really don't deserve a rematch. He know he lose!!! Besides, Cintron vs Williams should be next. It's unfinish business there.
Then of course, like someone already said. Margarito?

I'm thinking of these fights. with the thought of Mayweather or Pacman avoiding Martinez!

If there is one fighter I am glad made it to the top, it has to be Martinez.

I think he does one of two things. He takes care of his mandatory with Zbik or takes an easier fight with someone for decent, but not great, money. Someone like Andy Lee.

Is Martnez that good because Marg did really well against Pac Man and I think with the same mentality he could beat him.

Yes Martinez is that good. At this time, Martinez will defeat any fight in front of him.
Manny and Floyd too. Floyd being the harder of the two.
