lol No one likes Mayorga enough to translate that shit for you Ross.

I tried having my girlfriend translate a Mayorga youtube video for me, she did but said he speaks too fast and it sounds like jibberish.

She also didn't like him and thought he was ugly.

Its frustrating because every time hes jabbering away his translator will smile, the audience or press wiill crack up laughing but the translator only repeats half of what he says

We are missing out on some gems!

I posted the same link on Maxboxing and someone said he mentioned this "he says he is doing fine, will knock Cotto out in 3 or 4 and will rename him to Miguel Mayorga, cause he is going to make Cotto his son.

He is not going to be in boxing for a long time cause he feels he needs to make room for younger fighters and because he doesn't want to be making a fool out of himself fighting when he is 42-50 etc like other fighters who are making a fool out of themselves.

He only wants this fight and a fight with Pac.
He is 37 years old and he has had it with boxing.

He wants Pac to come to the ring side for the fight and he is going to show Pac what he can do.

Cotto won't make it to the 10 count cause the ref will call an ambulance when he sees Cotto down there.

he also said he din't really train either for Tito or DLH, but that he has been in the Gym for quite some time (3 months) for this fight"

Well it was obvious he didn't train for Oscar which was hugely disapointing and shameful on his part. As far as Tito goes it doesn't matter how hard he trained Tito was by that time too big for him and always too powerful and good for Mayorga. Short concise hard punches will beat wild hard punches most of the time.

Mayorga is fuckin nuts if he thinks he's getting a Pacqauio fight. Of course he would retire after that, it would be his biggest pay day ever.

Ricardo just needs to focus on Cotto and if he beats Cotto he will surely get another big fight. MAYBE Pacqauio but I highly doubt it.

he could have been in the same shape he was against Forrest and DLH would have still spanked that ass

Here... here.... I speak Spanish and can give you a hand with that. I'm listening to a recording now. Let's see... from what I can gather:

My name is Ricardo Mayorga... and for those of youse that know me, you know I mean no disrespect. My apologies to Cotto, and his fine family, for any comments I may have said that may have been misinterpreted. I also want to apologize for some of my deluded fans, who have brought shame to me... and my family. To those fans I say... "desist in your actions".

Or at least something to that effect.
    Hope that helps.

    Maybe. Maybe not.

Mayorga could have given himself a chance in the Oscar fight by being in great shape.

It was very disapointing to watch.

    In any case Fuck You

This is what I was hoping for!

Mayorga is doing a good deal of sparring and for an 18 year old in the kind of shape that Bobby Bryant is in to comment how his conditioning is improving by working with a 37 year old, just goes to show how hard Mayorga is working, hes doing 3 rounds with each sparring partner so he gets a fresh partner to push him.

Cotto has a HARD nights work ahead

i'll go with age on this one, cotto should win, as much as i'd like mayorga to destroy him. mayorga has a puncher's chance for sure. he's got that odd overhand right that often---to my surprise---awkwardly finds the target with decent power too.

Yes it does seem to land much more often than it should.

Lets hope Cotto gets stung by it and starts doing that stupid defense of his where he completely drops his left hand and tries to only block punches with his right hand whilst moving straight back.

    Ha ha! Spot on

There Is a video of Steward being interviewed at one of the press conferences and he is genuinely concerned about Mayorga as an opponent for Cotto. He doesn't have the same confidence some forum posters do.

I will translate for you Cotto is a Mother Fcuker bitch slut slag and has small hands and dick. I will beat him like his daddy. Real translation is "I am really lucky to get this opportunity because I do not deserve this shot. I have only got it because of my stupid antics and behaviour. I am too old to be doing this but need the money as it will be my last big fight".

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
