rios vs acosta & pacquiaouiao vs mayweather...

watching the rios acosta fight, i couldn't help but wonder if i was seeing what alot of pacquiao fans hope the mayweather fight would look like.

i'm a pacquiao fan and would like nothing more than to see a good fight where mayweather has the crap beat out of him...but i don't think thats how it would go down. when i've had argument with friends that think pac will win, they always tell me how pac will wear & break mayweather down and hopefully knock him out in the later rounds... like the rios fight.

You are joking right? Mayweather is two or three skill classes beyond either fighter. Rios has the Ricky Hatton's mentality. Pacquiao is a head hunter and would have to completely change his tactics in the ring against Mayweather depending how he fights. There is no doubt in my mind Pacquiao has to go to the body before thinking about Mayweather head otherwise Mayweather makes him look like he does everyone else.

I agree you can't even compare it. Mayweather's defense is way beyond Rios' and both Pac and Floyd skill set is way beyond the two. If you look at the first few rounds of the Rios-Acosta fight Rios was taking a lot of shots. I just don't see Mayweather taking the kind of shots Rios was taking. It will be a a counter punching type of fight.
