It is amazing how quick that year has been. Time seems to accelerate the older you get. It's a right old bummer.
Valero obviously went mad and should have gone on the wagon too, but a terrible way to go out and the selfish fan inside each of us wishes he could have at least realised his promise in the ring.

It's almost seems longer then that. Valero was a breath of fresh air for boxing, but unfortunately he had a dark side, he was like a bomb waiting to go off.
