I voted yes there is better: Have to back it.. ;-)

The work he does from 6.44 on, is hair raising.

This is way over the top and its written music like orchestrated prior to playing with Stevie Via going nuts freestyle. So it wont be everyones cup of tea.

I think Stevie rules the lead King since Frank Zappa died.

Thanks for the reminder i added Mark Knoppler and that work to my playlist of best lead work.

I notice Vinnie Colaiuta drumming for Jeff Beck there. Zappas ex drummers are the best there is and only seem to play with the best.

Tony Bozzio is a fav of mine too.

I love Zappa's drummers too. BTW that's me playing the guitar on that song! Just wanted to test everyone's reaction to it. Of course I know it aint the best ever, not even close, but I think its one of my best solos and I just wanted to see what you guys thought.

here's another one of mine when I was in a really psychedelic mood. Good use of controlled feedback I think. A real psycho instrumental here.

Yeah Andre he's absolutely sick, as well as the girl playing bass Tal Wilkenfield. She is like 17-18 when they played on that video, the sound quality is so bad on that clip you can barely even hear her. Check out Jeff Beck live at Ronnie Scotts if you haven't seen it, it was released as a DVD, same three piece band. Mind blowingly good.
