He'll do a Pavlik on Dawson.

    Bute is 50/50

Bute is currently the worlds most over rated boxer

I'm not saying his isnt great im just saying he hasnt proved it and theres nothing on his record to say he will beat hopkins or any top fighter for that matter

chad dawson could box hopkins, he would have to be much better than he has ever been before mind

I see your point on this. Bute so far has shown athleticism and hard-punching. Hopkins' punch resistance arguably has gone down. Hopkins could drop if Bute hit him with a clean uppercut. On the other hand, Hopkins' tactical ability could smother Bute and Bute arguably also has a questionable chin. On that note, did Gennady Golovkin KO Bute in the amateurs? Not that it is a huge slight on Bute, Golovkin also beat Dirrell, Korobov, Despaigne, and Lee. Just asking.

Dawson has shown to have a relatively weak mental game. Hopkins could dominate him mentally and, thus, win the fight. On the other hand, it appears Stewart is turning Dawson into the Klitschkos of the LHW's, and if Dawson used his height and reach on Hopkins, Hopkins may be out of luck.

    B-Hop do his homework!!!
Bute got 3 more fights under contract with showtime. More then likely, Bute will fight winner of the Super 6 at some point, to figure out who's the lineal champ at supermiddle. Which mean, Bute is going to have a few tough fight ahead of him before(if) he get a chance to fight Hopkins. IMO, Hopkins is setting this man up already. Bute against any of the remaining final 3 opponents will be a tough fight for him. Now that other fighter know the blueprint to a major payday against Hopkins, fighters is going to come to put on a show against Bute if they get a chance. All the while we have to wait until the finals is over to find out who Bute will fight. Jean Mendy will get extra ready. Then maybe Kessler, Abraham or Dirrell. Hopkins is going to make the man go to war before there potential showdown. GENIUS!!!

i highly doubt thats his plan, but i def see him having an easy fight with everyone except bute, bute has crack, and high activity level, hopkins weakness at this point is fighting a puncher or some one that stays busy, we sure as hell know that no bodys gonna outbox the guy, and no matter how good damson boxes and uses his height etc, they are actually the same height, hopkins will antonio tarver his ass, plain and simple

I sure didn't see anything from Dawson last weekend. Trying to punch harder followed by standing there in the same spot and watching.

Bute is a boatload of the characteristics that SHOULD give BHOP some trouble. He's reasonably athletic, reasonably active but he really isn't tested.

I think the determining factor will be how fast BHOP slows from here. He's gotten hit a great deal in his last two fights.

Not sure on Bute. I think Ward and Froch beat him and maybe Dirrell too. Hopkins would frustrate him and take a clear UD IMO. That's assuming Hopkins doesn't get old over night mind, he is long overdue that night when it all just goes. As for Dawson someone mentioned him using a height and reach advantage on Hopkins.... well he wouldn't have one. They are both 6'1 and I think Dawson only has 1 inch in reach on Hopkins too.

He is a fighter that I could see beating Hopkins though, he has nearly 20 years advantage on him and is a southpaw and the last man to beat Hopkins was also a southpaw. Then again Dawson is not quite Calzaghe but still the biggest threat at 175 right now IMO.

I think he beats Dawson convincingly and beats Bute in a close decision. I'm not completely sold on Bute yet, we havent been able to see him against top competition yet. I don't see b-hop losing anytime soon.

I think Bute will be a bad match-up for B-Hop.

He doesn't have the flaw of Pascal (Rushing, not using his jab, wasting his energy). Bute go at full throttle for 12 round and most of his power punch are at long range.

Still, I was sure he was going to lose again Pascal both time.

I can see B Hop losing to Dawson, I think B Hop has avoided fighting Dawson as I think Hopkins sees him like another Taylor, who was young undefeated and good defensive boxer. I also think Hopkins will not be motivated to fight him as it will not enhance his legacy in any way.

I think B Hop beats Bute at light heavy as he sees it more of a challenge, in Canada against an undefeated fighter who is regarded highly by the Canadians.

I don't think he needs the BCD fight...
The Bute one, depending on how the guy does in his next fights.

I think B-Hop should go for the juggular and give the Cruiser div. a go...
Challenge "USS" and try and get a title there.
