Well - everyone knew Haye could never win on points. That jab was simply too difficult to overcome.

Haye disappointed he didn't get to land his bomb. Wlad disappointed he didn't get the KO.

Both still way too cautious of each other and both never went for it.

All thats been proved for me is that Wlad's physical attributes are just way superior to everyone else's out there - but didn't we know that before the fight anyway ??

Haye surprised me tonight as he didn't wear out - really should have gone for it more mind. He actually landed the best two punches of the fight I thought.

Still a rematch is pointless as it would pan out much the same.

Both fighters probably reflecting now on a missed opportunity to set the world alight.

Did anyone else think lennox sounded like he was half thinking about it?

Yeah, it kind of went how I thought it would go. I had hoped that Wlad would knock him out late in the fight, but I didn't reckon on Haye being as negative as he was.

The upshot of all this is that David Haye is just another fraud. Let's not forget that this is the guy who thought Audinary Harrison and a shot John Ruiz were fighters worthy of a world title shot.

Considering how negative Haye was I thought Wlad did all he could do really. If the opponent doesn't want to fight there's no point chasing after him, wearing yourself out and leaving yourself vulnerable late on in the fight. Wlad fought the perfect fight under the circumstances if you ask me and the scorecards reflected that.

He even said himself that he expected a whole lot more from Haye. I think we all did after all the hype.

I actually hope Haye fights on though. He's not the best in the division clearly, but matched right he could have the most exciting fights.

I'd far rather watch Haye vs Solis, Haye vs Adamek, Haye vs Chisora than either Wlad in with those guys as these fights would be competitive.

Haye vs Adamek is a fun fight, far better than Vitali Adamek which we all know is an easy win for Vitali.

The biggest problem for the Klitschkos is that they are simply too dominant so it's not fun to watch them fight.

I don't know about it being an easy win for vitali these days anymore. Hell be forty come fight night, he doesn't punch as strong as he used to, was never the quicket to begin with but has gotten slower. I know he has yet to loose a round maybe in his second career, but sooner or later he's gettin old. I think hell still win the fight somethin like 8-4 but won't be nearly as dominant if it happened a year or two ago.

I obviously have Haye tinted glasses, because I thought the fight was very close. It was so close to call and there were probably 7 rounds I just couldnt score because there were no decent punches landed.

It was this place that taught me that this is not amatuer boxing, number of punches landed means nothing, it's all about the quality of the punches, that's why I didn't get caught up in the fact Wlad had landed more.

I must say though, I've never seen Wlad look so nimble and agile, I thought he looked really good, but didn't let go enough.

Haye looked like he had the tools to beat him if he had gone for it, a KO loss would have meant the same as a wide UD anyway, so by round 6 I was hoping he would stop falling over and start swinging

I agree with Hornfinger. Haye has been seriously exposed as a fraud. I've suspected it for a while, but we needed a meaningful fight to see for sure and we have seen. Haye is simply another top 10 heavyweight, any of the others has a fair shot of giving him a good fight or of even beating him.

As for Wlad I thought he fought very well, it wasn't a lightning display, but what can you do against a man that won't fight and keeps flopping onto the canvas?

Most definitely. I've been annoying by repeating it over and over for the past year but it could be one of the most exciting fight in the HW division. If you could campaign for that fight as hard as you did for the kindle, I am sure we have a chance to see it happen

I know i cant recall seeing wlad made to miss so many shots. Hayes movement was good (minus the falling down). The problem was haye should have increased his workrate and followed up movement with more counters.

Very disappointing! Haye showed nothing and wlad did what he always does. If Haye did really have a broken toe he should have at least postponed the fight three weeks ago, I would have prefered to see Haye fight in a month or twos time even though he would have let a lot of people down. He's simply made himself the laughing stock of boxing and he will always use the toe excuse forever now to defend such a shit performance. I feel really let down by Haye for this. Even with a fit toe though, I don't see Haye stopping wlad.
