Totally, when he is good he is very good. A lot of killer material on those first two Libertines records and some of Babyshambles is alright. Nowhere near as good in terms of consistency though. I really liked his solo record. It was quite nice.

He's produced loads of stuff though. The two Libertines albums. The Babyshambles stuff, which isn't great but has its moments. And then the solo album which I actually really enjoy. It's a fair body of work really and he is still only young.

I loved his solo album when I first heard it, but I found that it had very little staying power for me. I've probably only listened to it a handful of times and at this point I don't like it at all.

The solo album is decent, but you can't listen to it on repeat. I actually prefer it over a lot of the Babyshambles stuff, which I found to be very sporadic. The Libertines were class though, the first album more so.

Never saw The Libertines live unfortunately but have seen The Babyshambles 3 times, well, twice really because Pete didn't turn up the first time. That was at London Astoria when there was a huge riot.

Most of the greatist artists of all time couldn't sing! This aint the X factor, it's about song writing and performing.
