Interesting venture years ago between the US and Britains and I was just curious if British school discussed this in their history/government classes. I just happened to be reading some articles and I found it somewhat disturbing how they got rid of Mossadegh. If you are not familiar wikipedia does a "so so"job explaining it.

Had to google it, and no we are taught about it as we look like the bad guys in this and we do not want to teach our children about that. Better the world war where the Nazi's are the bad guys and we the liberators for peace and democracy. We were also taught about the US terrorists in Boston over a bit of tea and Indians over a bit of salt. We also sent the criminals to Australia who have now come over here and taken our bar jobs and women (like Shane Warne).
