    Default Favourite TV Boxets.

I need to fill a void in my life left by The Sopranos, which sadly ended for me last night.

I'm thinking either of the following....

    The Wire
    24
    Band of Brothers
    Dexter

and other stuff like that. Any recommendations?

Dexter is my favourite tv series of all time

Heroes was good for first two series then daft as fuck

Lost - don't waste your time
Sons of Anarchy is not bad though a little far fetched for me

Have just finished Boardwalk Empire 1 and thats highly recommended

But if you have never seen Dexter then its a must - and you have 5 series to go at
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate

Lost was awesome just because everyone could have their own theory on whats goin on and get in some good discussion about them. Def one of my favs.

Anyone watching Misfits? I just started downloading it a couple weeks ago and I think its hilarious.

Top of your list should be The Wire no doubt. Its not regarded as the best TV show of all time for nothing.

Dexter is also brilliant, as is Entourage.

Californication is also superb, I want to be Hank Moody! How one man can get so much pussy is a mystery.

24 is good but definitely repetitive.

If you like your gangster stuff then you should definitely look into Brotherhood, another top show.

Oh and Breaking Bad is awesome as well. My mate loves this and reckons it's up there with The Wire, Bryan Cranston is one the best actors around imo....

I've gone for 24 because my mate lent it to me

I quite fancy Breaking Bad and obviously The Wire. I watched the first 3 episodes of 24. I can imagine it being a bit samey as time goes on, but it seemed half decent. Can never really judge a programme after only a couple of episodes really. I remember thinking The Soprano's wasn't all that at first. Haha.

Yeah, The Wire is where it is at! I also liked the first three seasons of Weeds and The Shield was a really good show IMO. Someone already mentioned Californication and Boardwalk Empire has me currently hooked.
