Steward teaches outboxing very beautifully. If he were the trainer of Paul Williams that man could have truly been fantastic. However I think someone like Naazim Richardson would be good for the kid. Khan needs some guile and needs to step away from the ambushing style of Manny Pacquiao. It is not a good fit for a tall guy with inaccurate punches and bad balance. (yes his balance is bad because he always leans forward too much when he throws)

Nothing wrong with what Khan (his team) said. They bascially severed ties in a polite way. They ain't blaming Roach they just need someone that can fully commit to Khan.

It looked terrible in 24/7 when Khan was having a sparring war - with a guy that wasn't even a pro - with the little filipino guy and his conditioner standing in his corner.

I think the headline is deliberately being provocative to portray Khan to be an villain. In all likelihood Khan knows that Roach will not stop training his 2 fighters as they make him money and fame.

Khan will definitely have to find another trainer who can give him the time and attention that he needs to improve his defence and get him back into title contention. Emanuel Steward has got to be that person as he did exactly that when Lennox got knocked out by Oliver McCall.
