On paper I think Vassell should be favourite. I've been contemplating backing him too, but i've never been impressed by him, and he's been out for a year.

Smart move with that 11.16 mate... that was a pretty good stoppage from Vassell.

A lovely pair of uppercuts, and although the stoppage was a little contraversial, I thought it was fine as Heffron didn't go down, and he turned his back.

I had a little bet on Denton aswell and flintoff. Both underdogs aswell. I would of had Vassel the favourite all day long even though he had been out ayear.

I didn't think it was a premature stoppage. Heffron looked like he didn't know where he was when standing back in his corner. I think his trainer, Farnell, was about to complain then stopped when he realised Heffron was fucked

Vassell has more muscles than Bradley, Bruno and Seldon combined. He is a devastating puncher but very crude. Will watch him in the future, the division is stacked with good domestic fights for him.

Watching that fight i was on total disagreement with the commontators

They had heffron 3 up after 3 or something where i thought vassell was 3 up

heffron was far too tense

heffron just wasnt ready, he has an attacking style but he doesnt punch nearly hard enough to pull it off, perhaps his power will develop as he gets older or relaxes more

It was a borderline sort of stoppage really. Can see why he stopped it but generally speaking British referees seem to be too eager to stop fights, and whilst this one was borderline, it adds to the overall impression that British fights are stopped too quickly.

Heffron was out on his feet, the ref saw it right as he was closest and the man was defenseless. Vassell stopped punching as soon as he saw what damage was done to Heffron.
