I want to get a smart TV and will need to get one myself but do not trust them at all.

I thought most internet packages came with a wireless router

any will do the better speed it transfers the better it will be I think N is the best one but most systems don;t send a N signal so it makes it a pointless and costly extra

Yes they do but they are run of the mill!
My connection online games cuts out all the time and I nearly break windows!!!
Today I find out my router is to far away.....it's a 2.4ghz
The one I need is 5ghz which is a long range one but fuck does the cost go up

I've got the top virgin internet with a N router and the wireless is just not fast enough for the kids to kill people on the steam server.

I ended up buying some cheap ethernet cable's from ebay and running them under the carpet as I got sick of them crying over the wireless connection... they both have a ethernet splitter box (think that's what its called) that takes that wire and connects it to all the devices... Computer, TV, xbox and PlayStation giving them all top speed connections in each room.... it's the only way to go if you need a high speed connection for gaming mate.

    Hmm,

Go to the store, buy netgear or D-Link i recommend because they are big brands and pretty realiable and simple. Just go to the store, buy the most expensive ones because it sucks to know that there's anyone better then the one you bought if you bought a cheaper one, Or ask the staff at the store, that what i would recommend my dear!
