Default The 15 Greatest Composite Punchers of All Time

A great fighter is so much more than a collection of physical attributes, even if they are lucky enough to possess an absolutely extraordinary one…

“I do not see anything. I do not hear anything. Everything is all quiet, and it is dark. There is no pain, there is no sound. I did not know I was on the floor. Was I on the floor?”—Dick Tiger

Dick Tiger had a jaw of iron but when the right man hits you, you go.

That is a bit bias for the old time fighters which is why I did not use to like the ring magazine but it was informative at the same time.

Though I am surprised its not Fitzsimmons, a middleweight KOing heavyweights must really pack a punch to do so.

It's an alright list although mine would most likely look nothing like it but some of the characters would appear. From those 15 I have little doubt that Langford punches the hardest and he was a blown up welter/middle. Not sure how Wide did not make it or say Zarate and Olivares. Young Otto could ko a bull and so could most likely Max Baer. Robinson could punch but no way is he the second hardest puncher ever. No offense to the writer as we are all subjective but this list comes across as the guys favourite fighters and him finding a way to fit them all on an atg punchers list.

I had to look up the word composite, and I am still confused.

    1. composed of separate parts; compound

So how do you make a list of the 'greatest' 'composite' punchers.

Trinidad should also be in there.
